OSTUNI
OSTUNI, the “White City” (Città bianca) is enthroned on a hilltop about eight kilometres from the Adriatic coast.
The most important attraction of Ostuni is the excellently preserved old town centre with its maze of alleyways and stairways between the typical whitewashed houses.
It lies directly at the junction of the Valle d’Itria (to the north) and the Salento (to the south) of the Apulian peninsula.
